Boost element suitable for Continuous or Extended Off-Peak

Circulation is carried out by the use of a 3-speed circulating pump. The pump is electronically controlled by temperature sensors mounted in the storage tank and in the solar collector. The system is fi tted with a standard 240 volt 3 pin plug.

There is a basic anti-freeze control system integrated into the solar control unit, designed to protect the collectors and associated pipework from damage due to freezing. Should the night time temperature drop below 4oC it is designed to recirculate a small amount of water from the storage tank through the solar collectors to avoid freezing.
